Trace Elements in Man and Animals parent committee (TEMA) is pleased to announce several travel awards for trainees and young investigators. The objective of these awards is to encourage young and future scientists to pursue impactful trace element research that benefit society and participate in future TEMA conferences.

International Travel Awards

Description 

Up to seven International Travel Awards of USD 500 each for graduate students and postdocs.

Eligibility 

  • Must have registered as Student/ Postdoctoral scholars.
  • Must have submitted an abstract for either oral or poster presentations or both.

Young Investigator Awards 

Description 

Up to 10 awards for young/early investigators from India to offset travel and registration fees (INR 16,000).

Eligibility 

  • Must have registered.
  • Must be at the assistant professor or equivalent level.
  • Must have submitted an abstract for either oral or poster presentations or both.

Trainee Awards

Description 

Up to 20 awards for Graduate students from India to offset travel and registration fees (INR 6,000).

Eligibility 

  • Must have registered.
  • Must be a graduate student at Ph.D. or MSC level.
  • Must have submitted an abstract for either oral or poster presentation or both.

Trainee Abstract/ Poster Award

Description 

Five awards will be given to graduate students for best poster/oral presentation as judged by the TEMA scientific advisory committee (INR 4,000 per award). You don’t have to apply for the award.
